It’s Friday and I’m feeling lazy. But I really wanted to make my own food, no take-out, no delivery, no restaurant.
It’s a “bitzer” dinner, i.e. bits of this and bits of that.
Also, I cooked it in a Spanish cazuela so as to make it fancier.
- Polenta, either the pre-cooked stuff or make your own.
- Mozzarella. You can hand make this if you wish.
- Fresh basil.
- Sauce. So, tonight I used sauce from a jar. You can too! Or make your own sauce from scratch, but it’s hangover Friday, so that’s not going to happen.
- Layer like a lasagna and bake at 350/180 until bubbling. Finish under the broiler/grill.
